  1. employment law
    1. regulates the relationship between employees and employers, including what employers expect from employees, what employers can ask employees to do and employees rights at work
    2. health and safety at work act 1974
      1. places a duty on all employers to ensure the health and safety of all employees at work.
      2. the health and safety regulation 1992
        1. cover a wide range of basic health and safety issues and apply to most workplaces, on construction sites, ships or bellow ground ( mine work )
        2. supply of goods and service act 1982
          1. an act to amend the law with respect to the terms implied in certain contracts for the transfer of the property in goods
          2. sale and supply of goods act 1994
            1. all products have to be of a satisfactory quality. this means they have to be safe, last for a reasonable time, be fit for intended purpose.
            2. sales of good act 1979
              1. an act that regulates the sale of goods that are bought and sold in the uk and the binding contact between both parties
              2. the consumer protection act regulations 2000
                1. the regulations cover sales made at a distance between businesses and consumers, such as the following: mail order, catalogue shopping.
                2. data protection act
                  1. controls how your personal information is used by organisations, businesses or the government.
                  2. copyright, design and patents act 1988
                    1. gives the creators of literary, dramatic, musical and artistic works the right to control the ways in which their material may be used
                    2. computer misuse act
                      1. covers : unauthorised access to computer material, unauthorised access with intent to commit or facilitate a crime, unauthorised modification of material, making supplying or obtaining anything which can bed used in computer misuse offences.
