Effects of the Renaissance
  1. Revived Art: The some most famous artists of all time (Raphael, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci) created sculptures and paintings inspired by ancient Greek and Roman artists.
    1. Revived Science: Scientists like Galileo and Copernicus believed that the sun was in the center of the universe and Galileo became the first person to point his telescope toward the sky.
      1. Revived Inventions: Inventors, such as Johannes Gutenberg’s, invented new and useful things during the Renaissance. Johannes Gutenberg invented a printing press that used movable type, or small reusable metal pieces for each letter and number.
        1. Church Reformation: Some people didn't like the way their churches were so they started a religion called Protestantism. This was started by Martin Luther.
