    Emotions & Moods
Emotions have physiological correlates, are expressed physically (gestures, facial expressions, etc.), result from specific events, often leading to more actions. Moods last longer than emotions, perhaps a day or two. May not be expressed physically, may not come from an event. Attitudes have more cognitive, conscious brain component. LeDoux (2000) has sown that certain emotions activate certain parts of the brain.
