Constructive

Lava from mantle- Convection currents in the magma drive plate tectonics. Heat generated from the radioactive decay of elements deep in the interior of the Earth creates magma (molten rock) in the aesthenosphere. The aesthenosphere (70 ~ 250 km) is part of the mantle, the middle sphere of the Earth that extends to 2900 km.

Crust-The crust is the outer layer of the earth. It is a thin layer between 0-60 km thick. The crust is the solid rock layer upon which we live.

Continental crust-The continental crust is the layer of igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks which forms the continents

Lithosphere-The lithosphere is the solid, outer part of the Earth.
