  1. Dyslexia

    Annotations:

    • Learning difficulty.  Specific read and learn. 
    1. It happens when the brain has problems processing symbols.
      1. Normally the people who suffer this condition have defficiencies in zinc, potassium and essential fatty acids.

        Annotations:

        • Fatty acids: Huge role in the approach to academic work and behaviour.
        1. The symptoms are: Difficulty in learning to read, problems with coordination skills, unable to sit still, spelling, speech problems, concentration.
          1. The treatment for dyslexia are psychologist therapy that includes the famous "brain gym" and continue evaluation for an expert.

            Annotations:

            •  The psychologist use techniques that involve all kind of sense's.  Like touching, smelling, vision and hearing. 
      2. Dyspraxia

        Annotations:

        • Specific learning difficulties. 
        1. Problems with movment, coordination, memory.

          Annotations:

          • Sport and mathematical skill are affected.
          1. Dyspraxia affects the language, perception and also thoughts.

            Annotations:

            • The brain doesn't process the neural information. 
            1. The symptoms are: difficulties sitting up right, handwritting becomes a major issue, difficulties using one side of the body independently of the other, fatigue, hand-eye coordination.
              1. The treatment is motor therapy and speech and language therapy.
        2. Autism

          Annotations:

          • Also known as ASD or ASC. (Autism  Spectrum Disorder)  (Autism Spectrum Condition)
          1. Refers to a condition where somebody might be removed from social interaction in communication leaving them alone or isolated.

            Annotations:

            • Autistic people see, hear, and feel the world different than common people. 
            1. The symptons are: Unsensibility, antisocial behaviour, obssesive, cognitive problems, repetitive language and activities.
              1. The treatment has to be specifically and carefully tailored to each person and this includes things like specialized education, behavior therapy that all seek to maximize quality of life and functional independence
          2. Auditory processing disorder.
            1. Problems hearing small sounds differences in words.

              Annotations:

              • It doesn't mean hearing loss, it means that the brain doesn't hear sounds in the usual way. 
              1. The symptons are: Disable to read, write and spell. Also they find hard how to communicate with other people.
                1. The treatment for this disorder is specific for each person, but specialist focus on this: Classroom support, focus attention on your student who has it, speakers for facilitate the hearing, make other skills stronger, like writing, speaking, reading. And speech therapy.
            2. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
              1. Brain disorder marked by an specific pattern of inattention, hyperactivity and impulsavility.
                1. The symptons are: Being unable to sit still, excessive talking, acting without thinking, no sense of danger, difficulty to organise tasks.
                  1. The treatment is medication and therapy behaviour, also social skills training and school for parents.
              2. Asperger's Syndrome
                1. People with Asperger are average or above average intelligence.

                  Annotations:

                  • They don't have the learning disabilities that many autistic people have. 
                  1. The symptons are: Problems with speech, understanding and processing language, social communication difficulties with interaction, insensitive.
                    1. The treatment is therapy for social skills, speech language and also medicine.
                2. Down Syndrome
                  1. Is a chromosomal condition that is associated with intellectual disability.

                    Annotations:

                    • Also known as "chromosomal 21" and the most famous and obvious characteristic is the facial apperance. 
                    1. The symptons are: Flat facial features, small head and ears, short neck, bulging tongue, poor muscle toon, impulsive behaviour, poor judgment, no attention, slow learning.
                      1. The treatment is therapy for: sensory, social, self-help. motor skills and language and cognitive habilities.
                  2. Dyscalculia
                    1. Is a brain related condition that makes basic aritmetic hard to learn.

                      Annotations:

                      • Problems with numbers and math test. 
                      1. The symptons are: Anxiety and panic at the thought math homework. Problems with money and change. Problems with couting specific things in a group, etc.
                        1. The treatment for this disorder is learning with a specialist, but the best therapy that recommends educational psychologist are the familiar and personal practice.
