Ecology is the study of how organisms in an ecosystem interact with each other and their environment. Ecosystems are  systems formed by the interaction of a community of organisms with their environment. Heterotrophs are organisms that can't make their own food; also known as consumers.        Examples:            - humans            - sheep            - lionsAutotrophs are organisms that can make their own food; also known as producers.        Examples:            - flowers            - trees            - algae Abiotic = not living thing Biotic = living thing
