| CRT monitor | Based on cathode ray tubes. Length of cathode rays means these monitors are deep and take up a lot of room. |
| TFT monitor | These monitors are much flatter, so they take up less room than CRT monitors. They use liquid crystals to form an image (TFT LCD monitors) |

Colour laser printer often uses three colours of toner plus black.It produces clear text and diagrams but when it comes to photographs,it tends to be low resolution and use fewer colours that inkjet printer. |
