Question Answer
What is a radioisotope? Radioactive atoms of an element that spontaneously decay into smaller atoms, subatomic particles, and energy.
What is the difference between intermolecular forces and intramolecular forces? Intermolecular Forces: Chemical between entire molecules Intramolecular Forces: The bond that holds atoms of a molecule together.
Name the scale ranges of electronegativity that classifies a Non-Polar bond, Polar bond and an Ionic bond. Non-Polar: 0-0.4 Polar: 0.4-1.7 Ionic: 1.7+
Why does water make great sweat? Water makes great sweat due to two factors... high heat of vapourization and high heat capacity. For heat of vapourization water takes a lot of energy to evaporate which makes it perfect for sweat, it'll take roughly 540 calories before it vaporizes. Finally, water has a high heat capacity, which means that it can absorb a lot of heat before it changes temperature making it useful for cooling the body.
