THE TREATY OF VERSAILLES The treaty of Versailles was a treaty made at the end of WW.1It ended the state of war between Germany and the Allied Powers. It was signed on 28 June 1919, exactly five years after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand.
What were the motivations behind the treaty of Versialles in 1919? America, France, and the UK had suffered many losses at the hands of the Germans during WW1. The Treaty Of Versialles was designed to make Germant pay.
The Big Three (USA, FR, UK ladz) The big three consisted of George Clemenceau, Woodrow Wilson, and Lloyd George. Clemenceau and George had both had the worst of the damage from Gemanyb with many losses and damage to the French land.
