Large Surface Area to volume ratio

smal

smaller diffusion pathway

oxygen is able to reach the whole organism

Air moves in the trachea by pores on the surface called spiracles.oxygen diffuses in down the concentration gradient, and carbon dioxide diffuses out down the concentration gradient.the trachea branches off into tracheoles- they have a thin partially permeable wall ideal for diffusion.

THE USE A RHYTHMIC ABDOMINAL MOVEMENT TO MOVE AIR

the lamelli is on the surface of the gill filament- they help to increase the surface area for an optinum rate of reaction.

a counter current flow helps to maintain the concentration gradient. water flows one way, blood flows the other.

A dicot is a flowering plant.

the

the stomata open and close to allow efficient gas exchange. when it is dark stomata close as photosynthesis cant occur due to no sunlight.

meosphyll contains chloroplasts- this is when photosynthesis occurs as they absorb sunlight.
