After reading Plato's "The Ring" answer the following If you had such a ring, what would you do? If you had such a ring, what should you do? Why? What are the three parts of the soul according to Plato? If I had such a ring, I like to think I would do right with it. However, I don't know what I would do. I imagine I might use it for when I don't want to be bothered. I may use it to confuse my cats. I am not sure of what should be done as much as I am sure of what should not.One should use the ring for a greater good. Perhaps donating it to science. I can think of several military aspplications for such a technology. I can very nobly say that I would never use the ring to misbehave, but until I have it on my finger, I cannot bsay for certain.Plato's three parts of the soul are: reason, desire, and passion.
