On the 5th November people in England celebrate Guy Fawkes Day. Guy Fawkes was one of the plotters who wanted to blow up the English Parliament in 1605, which is known as the gunpowder plot. Guy Fawkes was eventually caught and executed. Up till this day people light big bonfires and burn Guy Fawkes effigies.
