GOD1. To design something takes intelligence and thought+2. The Universe shows evidence of being Design (Complexity)+3. Therefore, a being with intelligence and thought must have designed it+4. Only God could have the intelligence and thought enough to design the universe.=5. Therefore, as the universe exists, so does God

Evidence of DesignDNAIndicates a design for the structure of Organisms. It has a specific function and designEVOLUTIONComplex life forms develop from simple onesBEAUTY OF NATURESunsets, mountains and oceans have beauty created by an 'artist'LAWS OF SCIENCEUniverse works according to Laws which are all complex and work together in perfect balance e.g. gravity, magnetism and motion

LEADING TO BELIEF IN GOD Argument ignores the evidence of Lack of design e.g suffering, disease. Why would someone design these to happen? All evidence can be explained by Science Evidence only proves a designer not God. The designer could have been anyone Plenty of evidence the world has been designed. Only possible designer of something so beautiful and Complex is God. No one else is powerful enough Anything that's been designed needs a designer

Causation- The argument that everything must have been started off (caused) by something else

CAUSATION1. Nothing happens by itself, everything needs a cause+2. Therefore the universe must have a cause+3. Only God could have caused a Universe to Come about=4. Therefore there must be a God

Arguments for this BeliefSome people believe think that the argument from causation does not prove that God exists because: Who caused God? A better explanation is that the matter of the Universe itself is eternal and so the process of causes goes on forever. The first cause doesn't have to be God, it could be anyone

SUMMARYScience says all matter is eternal and the universe began when this matter explodedThe solar system came out of the explosion, and the nature of the earth allowed life to develop through evolution

EVIDENCE The universe is still expanding today Remnants of heat from the BIG BANG can still be detected (Microwave background radiation)

THE BIG BANGEVOLUTION

How the Big bang theory leads people to become Atheist! If the Big Bang is just science with proof then it proves God doesn't exist so why would you believe in him?

THE BIG BANG14 Billion years ago a single atom exploded to become the universe.EVOLUTIONThe theory humans evolve from apes. Human and Chimpanzee DNA are 98% identical. Evolution explains fossils, organisms and brains.

RESPONSE 1Some Christians believe in Scientific theories but believe that God caused them because: The atom was set off at the perfect time Think God created the science laws and the scientific processes were caused by him

RESPONSE 2Some Christians believe that Science is wrong and the Bible explains Evolution and Big bang theory in the story of Noah's arc.The flood created rock formations and explains the age theory that when Adam came to Earth it looked 6 billion years old when it was actually 6 days old. This is called Creationism

RESPONSE 3Many Christians believe science and the bible are related."Let there be light" - Genesis 1:13this could be referring to the big bang theory.Believe that each creation day was 1000 of our days
