study : Cullen and Seddon (1981)used a token economy in a youth offenders' institution.  Those taking part demonstrated more poristive behaviours than the control group during the study

Evaluation  Have ethical Problems Blackburn (1993) said that it had little effect as it is superficial Short term benefits Cohen and Filipczak (1971) found that recidivism was reduced for at least two years
