Body Language & Facial Expressions
  1. NICOLE
    1. As Nicole is the main protagonist in our film, her body language and facial expressions will have a large influence on making the audience feel tension and fear throughout the film. Nicole will use exaggerated facial expressions to emphasise this feeling on our audience. She will come across as vulnerable and scared from the rising action to the end of the opening scene of our film. Her facial expressions will consist of fear, panic and weariness as she ventures through the woods with her dog and comes across her missing friend Olivia, and the main protagonist - The Psychopath.
    2. OLIVIA
      1. Olivia's facial expressions will contribute towards making the audience feel sorry for her character as she is the victim. Her body language is going to show that she is weak and vulnerable, and her facial expressions will show not only the cuts and bruises from the antagonist, but also the fear and panic that she holds inside of her for the psychopath that had kidnapped her. Olivia's face will show the slightest bit of hope when she realises that her friend, Nicole, has found her, yet however that glimmer of hope will disappear when the antagonist soon appears and chases Nicole.
      2. PSYCHOPATH
        1. As a stereotypical psychopath, the main antagonist in our film will show no emotion, yet it will be obvious that he gets a thrill out of causing fear and upset to the two girls that encounter him. This will cause the audience to feel a hate towards this character and this will explain and describe his character in more detail.
