Fleets consisted of: 62 large ships and 200 smaller ones
Larger ships were 400 ft. long
Died in 1435
After death, emperor banned ships with more than 2 masts
Ships eventually fell into disrepair
Returning Chinese culture
Reestablishing Confucianism importance
Moved the capital to more Chinese influenced cities
First: Nanjing
Second: Beijing
Restarted the civil service exam
Became more "rigorous" than before
Created the "board of censors" to prevent corruption in the government
