        1. Xeno-free media (Eg : Human-source components, such as human serum albumin, are used as supplements but animal components are not allowed as supplements)
          1. Protein-free media (Eg : Undefined components, such as peptide fractions (protein hydrolysates) are used as supplements)
            1. chemically defined media (Eg : Undefined components, such as crude protein fractions, hydrolysates, and tissue extracts, are not appropriate as supplements, but highly purified components, such as recombinant proteins are appropriate supplements
    2. NATURAL MEDIA
      1. Coagulant or clots (Eg :Plasma separated from heparinized blood, serum, and fibrinogen)
        1. Tissue extracts (Eg : Extracts of chicken embryos, liver, and spleen and bone marrow extract)
