What is a line of symmetry? A line that divides a shape in two that if you would fold the shape along this line it would be the same.
What is a complementary angle? or the complement of an angle? A complementary angle is a 90 degree angle, and the complement of an angle is how much do you need to make a complementary angle.
What is a supplementary angle? What is the supplement of an angle? A supplementary angle is a 180 degree angle and the supplement is how much do you need to make a supplementary angle.
What is an acute angle? An angle that is less that 90 degrees.
What is an obtuse angle? An angle that is larger that 90 degrees but smaller than 180 degrees.
What is a reflex angle? an angle greater that 180 degrees.
What is a right angle? An angle that is 90 degrees.
What is an acute triangle? A triangle with no corners with angles greater that 90 degrees.
What is a scalene triangle? A triangle where none of the sides or angles are the same.
What is an isosceles triangle? A triangle with two of the sides congruent.
What is a right triangle? A triangle with an angle of 90 degrees.

What is the greatest common factor (GCF) A common factory between numbers that is the greatest of the set.
What is a prime factorization? A factorization using only prime numbers.
What is the least common multiple (LCM) a common multiple that is the least out of the set, you find it by finding the prime factorization and replace the replicates with 1 of the numbers.
What is the least common denominators (LCD) It is the least common multiple on in denominators.
How do you find which fraction is bigger? Change decimals or percents and figure out which one is bigger.
What is the divisibility rule for 1? All numbers are divisible by 1.
What is the divisibility rule for 2? If the number is even.
What is the divisibility rule for 3? Add all of the numbers and if that is divisible by 3.
What is the divisibility rule for 4? The last two digits are divisible by 4.
What is the divisibility rule for 5. The last digit is either a 0 or 5.
What is the divisibility rule for 6? The number is divisible by two AND 3.
What is the divisibility rule for 7? Double the last digit of the number and subtract that from the remaining number and if that is 0 or divisible by 7.
What is the divisibility rule for 8? The last three digits are divisible by 8.
What is the divisibility rule for 9? Add all of the digits and if it is divisible by 9.
What is the divisibility rule for 10? If the last digit is a 0.
What is the divisibility rule for 11? Add every second digit and subtract the other digits and it is 0 or divisible by 11.
What is the divisibility rule for 12? If the number is both divisible by 4 and 3.
What does a frequency chart include? Tallies
What does a line plot include? X's that represent certain numbers.
How does a stem and leaf plot work? The stem side is the number of tens in a number and the leaf side is the ones part of a number, it can include two different categories.
What does a scatter plot show? A vague trend.
What is the line of best fit on a scatter plot? A line that shows the general trend in a scatter plot.
What graph best shows a part of a whole? Pie
What graph best shows a change over time? Line
Which graph best shows discrepancy? Bar
Which graph best shows trends? Scatter
What can make a graph confusing? No titles, no numbers, not starting at 0.
How do you find the mean? Add all numbers and divide by number of numbers that you added.
How do you find the median? Put numbers in order from least to greatest and cross out from each side until you reach the middle.
How do you find the mode (what is it)? Mode is the number that occurs most often, which number occurs most often?
How do you find the range? Take the biggest number minus the smallest number.
What does a negative minus (or plus) a positive equal? Depends on how many of each you have, if you have more positives it will be positive, if you have more negatives it will be negative.
What does a negative times (or divided by) a negative equal? A positive.
What does a negative times (or divided by) a positive equal? A negative.
What does 4^3 mean 4*4*4
What is 6.45*10^3 in standard notation. 6450
What is 6,210,000 in scientific notation? 6.21*10^6
What does |x| mean? Absolute value.
What does reciprocal mean? Where you flip the Numerator and Denominator around.
What is the opposite? A negative becomes a positive and a positive becomes a negative.
