Cover letter (video): Listening comprehension I

You have to write a cover letter or a [blank_start]letter of application.[blank_end]

Your letter of application should introduce you, your [blank_start]personality[blank_end], your [blank_start]skills[blank_end] and your [blank_start]enthusiasm[blank_end].

The content should provide two or three solid examples of your skills and [blank_start]experience[blank_end]

The two verb tenses you should use are: [blank_start]simple past[blank_end] and [blank_start]present perfect[blank_end]

Also, be sure not to undersell yourself, but also not to overself yourself, be [blank_start]honest[blank_end]

These words (action verbs) will again help you avoid too long and [blank_start]unnecessary[blank_end] phrases

Make sure your letter is not longer than [blank_start]one page[blank_end] so, make it every word count.

Lastly, don't forget to check the letter for [blank_start]mistakes[blank_end] and make sure the [blank_start]layout[blank_end] is clean
