    You must be able to:        * Order positive and negative integers, decimals and fractions and understand place value        * Use the symbols =, ≠, <, >, ≤, ≥        * Be able to add, multiply, subtract, and divide fractions and whole numbers        * Use conventional notation (brackets, square root signs, powers, etc.)        * Understand the concepts and vocabulary of prime numbers, factors, multiples, common factors, common multiples, highest common factor, lowest common multiple, prime factorisation, including using product notation and the unique factorisation theorem         * Apply systematic listing strategies (factorials)        * Be able to use positive integer powers and the associated real roots        * Calculate with roots, integer indices, fractions, and multiples of π        * Standard form

    You must be able to:        * Work interchangeably with terminating decimals and their corresponding fractions        * Identify and work with fractions in ratio problems         * Interpret fractions and percentages as operators
