Observe the example above.When two different things are presented near each other, people assume that they are related and should go together - and it gets stronger with items that are together left to right.We need to be careful and use white spaces effectively while designing and communicating. Little space between items that are suppose to be grouped together might lead people to the wrong direction.
Notes to remember: Different items that you want to be seen as an unity must be in close proximity Before using boxes and/or outlines try to explore the white space between items. Remember: more space between items that don't go together, and less space between items that go together.
