MULTIPLYING AND DIVIDING NEGATIVE NUMBERS5x-3 you work this out by doing 5x3 which=15 then we can see that in the sum there is a minus (-3) so all we need to do is add a  - so the answer is -15but it is different if you want to do this sum: -2x-2 so we start the same as last time so we do 2x2 which= 4 then we see that there are this time 2 -'s so we do the sum -+=+ so the answer is just 4

Multiplying negative numbers is exactly the same as adding subtracting and dividing.
