Not anytime soon. There are a ton of technological possibilities we can't create yet.. nuclear fusion that creates a surplus of energy, effecient batteries and so on.. A lot of it is theoretically possible we just don't know how to do it yet. Could there come a time in which we have hit our limits? You bet. It's sort of like music.. You can only combine so many notes and cords so mamy ways eventually every possibility will have happened. The same will be true with technology eventually we will hit a brick wall with what is possible. The bright side is this would be hundreds of thousands if not millions of years into the future... By the time that happens evolution will have taken course and humans will no longer exist.

Its so amazing how technology has changed the world over the last few centuries. Just when we thought we have seen it all, new inventions just keep coming up and outdating the once amazing inventions we experienced. From bicycles to electric trains now we have flying cars. From typewriters to touchscreen table top computers! WOW! The growth and rate at which technology and the human world is advancing is very alarming. Often times I wonder if techonlogy will ever stop advancing.Sometimes I ask questions like will the world ever stop developing? Will it get to a stage where there will no more inventions? Where is the world going to? What technology will be existing by 2050? and so many more.Technology has affected every single aspect of our lives in one form or the other. I wonder maybe in the next 50 years, if there will be albums in our brains and we wont need ipods/music players anymore or are we going to be floating when going to parties and wont even need these cars anymore but talking floating gears? like “my floating gear has ice on the backpad!” Back in the days before the existence of bluetooth, there was infra-red. During the infra red era, I was just wishing if there could be a easier way to send and receive files. As if these companies read my mind a couple years later bluetooth emerges! now the question i’m asking is what will be the next invention that will emerge?.Our fore-fathers had to open the doors at the airports and other places even the door of the presidents was to be opened manually now we have eateries,shopping malls with doors that open automatically as you approach!Technology is advancing in such a way that I now strongly believe in whatever you can imagine is real and 100% possible. As a child when I would see Peugeot and Volkswagen Beatles on the expressway, I would daydream of having my own car that will be flying above all these Peugeots and Beatles now its 2012 and a flying car has been launched.I used to imagine what it was like having a plane of my own and not having to travel via airports and now there are private jets. Surprisingly i’m not only day dreaming of having a private jet but I’m dreaming of that invention that will surpass the private jets afterall before we had cable telephones now we have wireless/mobiles. If that is not enough, telepresence is available.I must say the rate at which technology is advancing, you should give room for your imaginations to grow because whatever you can imagine is real and very possible. From movies to reality such as the Microsoft Tabletop Touch-Screen Computers, I wont be surprised if a time-machine as seen in the Thrill Seekers movies also becomes a reality.For those who belive what can be invented has already been invented, I think that is wrong. We are still talking about the possibilies of human existence on Mars, before you know it, we will be talking about human existence on Jupiter.I strongly believe there are no limitations to technology. Its endless and I’m sure technology will never stop advancing. From bicycles to flying cars, what’s next? Do you think a time will come and technology will stop advancing or do you think we are gradually going extinct and maybe one day nature will take its course? What can stop technology from advancing and destroy the human ability to come up with new inventions? Is it when we run out of electricity? What inventions do you expect in the next 50 years? Are we going to destroy the earth ourselves and then go back to the cave/stone ages?
