Abortion
  1. Christians believe in the Sanctity of life, which means the life given from God is a gift and is sacred
    1. Some Christians believe that abortion is murder, as it is the death of a potencial life which God has created
      1. 10 Commandments: 7th- 'You shall not murder'
    2. Roman Catholics believe that abortion is never right because God created life
      1. God should be the only one who has the right to take a life away
        1. They also believe that life begins at the moment of conception
          1. However, they believe that if an abortion is needed to save the mothers life, they would except the doctrine of 'double effect', where if the morally good side was to save the mother and the morrally bad side of the baby's death, it is acceptable providing the morrally bad was not intended
        2. Abortion is when a foetus has been removed deliberately
          1. Other Christians believe that the foetus cant be described as a person until later on around 22 weeks, so therefore an abortion may be seen as acceptable
            1. But only if it is dealt individually in the most loving and kind way
