    • Character's are trying to find outlets for communication, yet also struggle to have privacy.

        Annotations:

        • The woman across the street is the human mystery - that they can exist separately. However this independence leads to inevitable loneliness.

          Annotations:

          • Clarissa throws her party to try and bring people together, to try and give herself a purpose.  "cutting them up and sticking them together again"
