Lipids, Triglycerides and Phosphlipids
- LIPIDS
- Made up of Carbon, Hydrogen and Oxygen but in much more
higher proportions of hydrogen than carbohydrates.
- The most common lipid is triglyceride
- At room temperature, fats are soild and oils are
liquid.

- TRIGLYCERIDES
- 3 fatty acids chains are attached to a glycerol

of the triglyceride attaches to the -H of the glyercol,

- Insoluble in water because they are
hydrophobic, their charge isn't attracted to
water
