    1. High pressure causes dry warm/cold donditions as air is falling
    2. WINDS: Most common prevaling wind from south west. Bring warm + wet climate.
      1. DISTANCE FROM SEA: Areas closer to the sea are warmer in winter (sea stores heat) but colder in winter (sea takes long time to warm up)
        1. west of UK warmer than east as warm currents come from ocean NORTH ATLANTIC DRIFT
        2. LATITUDE: The higher the latitude the colder it is (suns rays less concentrated) less heat energy. Southern UK is warmer than Northern.
          1. ALTITUDE: The higher altitude means colder climate as air is thiner and doesnt trap heat energy
