Resource summary

Controlling temperature
  1. During exercise your core body temperature increases.
    1. This is because your muscles and heart etc are working harder and faster to keep up with what you're doing
    2. During exercise your skin doesnt go red because you are sweating. The sweat evaporates and cools down the skin
      1. Sweating also lets the heat come out with the sweat and the sweat then gets evaporated meaning the heat is lost in the air other than in the body.
      2. When you get too hot , the blood vessels supplying your capillaries just below your skin expand. More blood flows closer to the surface which then allows the heat to radiate out quicker
        1. Your sweat glands and kidneys control your water output.Kidneys remove any excess water in your urine
