Measuring
1. Measuring spoon- usually come in four different sizes
  1. Teaspoon
    1. Tablespoon
      1. 1/2 Teaspoon
        1/4 Teaspoon
  2. Measuring Cups- Come in 4, 5, or 6 pieces
    1. 1 Cup
      1. 1/2 Cup
        1/3 Cup
        1/2 Cup
        Use for ingredients you can level off
    2. Used for dry and solid foods.
    3. Measuring Pitchers- Used for liquids.
      1. Have cups and ounces
        Liters and Mililiters.
      2. Measuring Equvilants/ Abreviations
        3 teaspoons in a Tablespoon
        4 Tablespoons in 1/4 Cup
        T= Tablespoon
        t= tablespoon
        Measuring Liquids
        Gallon is the biggest
        4 Quarts = 1 Gallon
        2 pints = 1 quart
        2 Cups = 1 pint
2. Teaspoon vs. Tablespoon
  1. 3 teaspoons are in one Tablespoon because Tea has 3 letters.
Recipes
1. For every recipe you should know if something is wrong
  1. Salt is usually used in small amounts and we should be able to recognize that.
2. Combination of math and chemistry
  1. Will have a yeild
    1. The ingredients and the meausrments
      1. The directions
Sifting
1. When sifting dry ingredients you need to sift into a bowl the measure
