How Can You Stay Safe Online?
  1. Passwords: Create passwords that are strong and have capital and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Do not share them with anyone. Also, don't use the same passwords for all your accounts.
    1. Pictures: Do not post pictures online that you wouldn't want anyone else to see. Like the phrase, "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas", what you post online, stays online, even if you delete it.
      1. Make sure you log out of your email, social media, and any other account before you shut down your computer.
        1. Sharing information: Don't share your personal information online with people that you don't know.
          1. Saving information: Be cautious when making online purchases, don't save your address or credit card information online.
            1. Linking accounts: It's not a great idea to link different accounts (ex: linking Facebook or Twitter to your email), if one account gets hacked, then so will all your other accounts.
              1. Public computer: If you're using a computer in the library or at school, make sure you log out properly and don't save any personal information.
