  1. Missionary, Evangelism, evangelist.
    1. Missionary means evangelical people who travel to other countries to spread their faith.
      1. Evangelism means preaching the word and it is the main way of spreading Christian.
        1. Evangelist mean Christians who believe that they should convert others to the Christian faith.
        2. Forgiveness and Reconciliation
          1. DEF: Forgiveness means the act of excusing a sins or wrongdoings. Forgiveness is necessary in order to restore relationship.

              1. They believe that forgiveness is important principle of Christianity. Christians believe god is merciful and will
                1. The lord's prayer, which the bible says Jesus gave to his followers says ''And forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.
                  1. 1) Christians admit that they are not perfect 2) Christians believe that God can forgive their sins 3)Christians ask God for forgiveness of their sins. 4) Christians forgive other people for their sis.
                    1. Christian believe that God forgives those who repent( are truly sorry). God is perfect-he doesn't not have human weaknesses to stop him forgiving. God is loving- God loves everyone no matter what they have done in the past.
                    2. God is merciful and forgives sins and once the ins are forgiven they are no longer remembered.
                    3. DEF: To build a relationship. Forgiveness is the first step. reconciliation is the goal.
                      1. Jesus' example of forgiveness. Jesus is their ultimate example, and they should try to be like him and follow in his example. Before he dies, he forgave thosae responsible for his death.
                        1. The bible teaches the importance of reconciliation, resolving situations and restoring relationships with one another and with God. When someone has done something wrong,reconciliations requires forfgiveness
                          1. Bilble verse: Matthew 5: 23-24. threfore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother: then come and offer your gift.
                          2. Prejudice and discrimination
                            1. Prejudice- a belief or thought about a group of people based on stereotypes and not facts.
                              1. Discrimination-Actions based on prejudiced thoughts; acting out prejudice, putting your prejudice into action.
                                1. Equality is the state of being equal or being treated equally. Some people believe that everyone should receive equal rights, treatment and opportunities because everyone is equally important . THEY WANT SOCIAL JUSTICE, WHICHI MEANS FAIRNESS IN Society they believe in equality for all people regardless of their race gender, sexuality, age or physical or mental ability. others believe since everyone is different haow can we possible treat everyone equally.
                                  1. Christians believe everyone is made in the image of God. love one another as I have loved you. love your neighbour as yourself
                                  2. Racism and sexism
                                    1. DEF: Racism means prejudice or discrimination because of race (colour, culture and ethnic group). Sometimes people believe that a certain race is better or worse than other this is racial prejudice. When these beliefs are acted upon and peole are treated differently this is racial discrimnation
                                      1. What do Christians believe about racism?
                                        1. Christians generally believe that racism is wrong because it goes against Christian principles of equality and love because it involves treating people badly and not showing them love and respect. RACIISM IS A FORM OF INEQULAITY.
                                        2. Bible quotes: Acts 17: 26 From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole world; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.
                                          1. Jesus' example and teaching; Although Jesus was a Jew and Jews did not normally associate Samaritans because they were a different race, the gospel of John shows Jesus talking with a Samaritan woman and the gospel of Luke records a story Jesus told where a Samaritan is praised for his kind actions.
                                            1. In their everyday lives Christians generally try to treat people of all races fairly, they try to respect everyone equally, regardless of race. and they do not join other in racist behaviours. They may try and encourage racial equality by setting positive examples, educating children about equality and the importance of respecting everyone.
                                              1. Action against racism are challenging or reporting any racist behaviour or supporting anti racist organisations or protesting against racist policies.
                                                1. DEF: Sexism is treating someone differently because o their gender.
                                                  1. Examples of unequal treatment at work include: women being unfairly given less challenging work. Different pay for the same job. Men being allowed less time off work than women after having a baby.
                                                    1. Christians views on ender equality: Traditionally most Christians believe that men were in charge and the role of women was to support men. Today there are still some Christians who have the same view. However many modern Christians believe that men and women should be treated equally and that they should both be in charge together. This is because the bible was written a long tiem ago, in a male dominated society and its references to the roles of men and women reflect this.
                                                      1. The bible seems to say that men should be in charge: Jesus' disciples ere all men. the first women Eve was created as man's companion. However the principles of equality should be applied to gender. '' There is no Jew nor Greek, slave or free, male or female, for you are all one in Christ.
                                                      2. Christians and other religions.
                                                        1. Although Christians do not generally accept the beliefs of other religion as being equal to their own, ost Christians believe in religios freedom. They believe that everyone has the right to their own beliefs. Many chritians believe it is right to respect the beliefs of others and live together in harmony whilst appreciating the right to practise one's own fiath.
                                                          1. Christians are thought that only a Christian who accepts Jesus as the son of God and the saviour can know God. Followers of other religion who do not recognise the full importance of Jesus can not enter heaven. John 14:6''i am the way nad the truth and the life., No one comes to the father except through me.
                                                            1. Some Christians believe other religions may have part-truths. Although most Christians believe that Christianity is the only true faith, some Christians believe that other religions can have equal value. ''in my father's house are many rooms.
                                                              1. Ecumenism- is when Christians work together to break down barriers between denominations
                                                                1. Interfaith- having people from other religion join together and talk an pray
