Form of past continious
1. Positive: I was speaking.
2. Negative: I was not speaking.
3. Interrogative: Was I speaking?
The past progressive puts emphasis on the course of an action in the past. Use past continious for:
1. Puts emphasis on the course of an action in the past
2. two actions happening at the same time (in the past)
3. action going on at a certain time in the past
exceptions in spelling:
1. when the word end in "e" the letter "e" disappears and the word end in -ing
  1. Ex: come-coming
  2. But when the word end in "ee" no disappears
    1. Ex: agree-agreeing
2. When the word end in consonant, the consonant is doubled
  1. Ex: sit-sitting
3. when the word end in "ie" is convert in "y"
  1. Ex: lie-lying
