Can you describe some of the activities in your student life which have a great impact on your learning experience? During my student life as a foreign student in Canada, I had to live with many other students in dormitory, and I had to adapt myself to a new social and cultural environment. It helped me grow up to become more independent and sociable.
Which fields of study would you recommend your younger brothers or sisters when they go to college? It would depends on their own interests and personalities, but if they do not know what they want to study, I would recommend them to study Business or Information Technology which I believe they will at least have a good and more secured future in finding a good job.
As a student, what are (were) the major difficulties you need to overcome? When I was a student, the major difficulties for me were to overcome my fear of speaking in class and to develop good relationship with other students.
Do you remember the most difficult assignment that you had to undertake? I remember the most difficult assignment that I had to undertake was related to Algebra, as I could'nt understand the subject on my own, nor what the lecturer was teaching in class.
What do you consider as the most relevant factors in choosing what subject to major in? I believe it is really a personal choice, and the most relevant factors to me are, my interest in the subject, the future career prospect of being a graduate student who major in that subject, as I am a very practical person.
What are the admission requirements of your college? My college required a certain grade point average when I graduated from high school, and proof of proficiency in getting certain scores in Test of English as a Foreign Language since I was a foreign student whose native tongue is not English.
Who are your favorite lecturers in your college? Why? I have a few favorite lecturers, Professor Rosen who taught Accounting, and Professor Livingston who taught Economics, because they were very intelligent, knowledgeable and familiar with the subjects they taught.
