Specialized Cells	They have features that make them adapted/more suited to their jobs.
White blood cell Adaptation	Their cytoplasm can flow so it can move more easily.
White blood cell Function	Engulf and destroy/kill harmful microbes.
Sperm Cell Adaptation	It is streamlined so that it can reach the egg quickly. It has a hard head to enter the egg cell.
Sperm Cell Function	To fertilize the egg cells
Nerve Cell Adaptation	Long branches to send messages around the body quicker.
Nerve Cell Function	Send messages around the body. For example the brain would send messages via nerve cell to kick your leg
Ciliated Windpipe Cell Function	Move mucus and bacteria away from windpipe and lungs. Also clears away dust from the trachea.
Ciliated Windpipe Cell Adaptation	Lots of little hairs that move side to side to clear the windpipe from dust.
Red Blood Cell Function	Carry oxygen around the body.
Red Blood Cell Adaptation	No nucleus and large surface area
What a Plant Cell Has	A vacuole, cell membrane, cell wall, nucleus, cytoplasm, chloroplast
Vacuole	Is full of sap
Cell Wall	Supports the cell.
Chloroplast	Contains chlorophyll for photosynthesis.
Nucleus	Controls the cell.
Cytoplasm	The liquid in which chemical reactions happen.
Cell Membrane	Surrounds the cell and controls what can enter it and leave it.
Tissues	A group of the same cells all working together
Organs	A large part of a plant or animal that has a very important function. It is made from different tissues.
Heart. What is it made of?	Muscle tissue. Nervous Tissue Fat tissue
Heart function	To pump blood around the body.

Lungs	The lungs are used for breathing oxygen and getting rid of carbon dioxide.
Kidney	Clean the blood and make urine.
Small Intestine	to break up food and absorb it
Large intestine	to remove water from unwanted food
