Question	Answer
Hypothesis	A prediction, which states what you think the outcome will be.
Sample	A group selected from the sampling frame to be researched.
Sampling Frame	A list of everyone in the Population
Qualitative data	Data which Isn't numbers
Validity	Data is Valid if it's true and accurate.
Reliability	Data is reliable when different researchers using the same method get the same results.
Quantitative data	Data in the form of numbers.
Structured Interview	A questionnaire which is read out and filled in by the interviewer
Covert Research	Identity of the researcher and the purpose of the research is hidden from those being studied.
Overt Research	The identity of the researcher and the purpose of the research are made clear to those being studied.
Ethics	Moral principles - beliefs about what is right and wrong
