Question Answer
What is Brownian Motion The irregular motion suspended in particles. (Move in random directions.)
What is diffusion? When particles move from a high concentration to a low concentration.
Solid Fixed pattern (Lattice Structure) strong bonds keep them held in place. Make tiny vibrations.
Liquid Close together, no strickt rows. No longer in lattice structure. Forces are weaker than solid but only slightly. Slide past each other.
Gas Far apart, move quickly almost no force holding the particles together. Collide and bounce in all directions.
What is Sublimation? Sublimation is a transaction from a solid to a gas without going through the liquid stage. E.g Dry ice Snow & Ice
Gas pressure Air pressure is caused by the force of air gas particles colliding. Air pressure is equal in all directions. Adding heat effects how slow/ fast the particles move.
