strengths of WHO definition of health -holistic -looks at underlying cause of ill health and poverty -takes into consideration traditional and alternative therapies
weaknesses of WHO definition of health -criteria for "well being" Is subjective -what defines "well being" may be different for cultures -difficult to define with exception of "absence of disease"
