The leaves on a certain plant has parallel veins. Which statement about this plant is correct? A plant with parallel veins in its leaves will be a monocotyledon. Palms, orchids and grasses are monocotyledons.
What is a species? Organisms that can interbreed to produce fertile offspring belong to a particular species. Sometimes two closely related species can breed together but their offspring are usually infertile.
