What did Savage Rumbaugh do?	Taught a bonobo named Kanzi language using a lexigram- repertoire of 500 words and showed a clear understanding of complex human sentences.

Washoe and Louslis	Washoe was given an adopted son after a number of failed pregnancies, just through observations Louslis had learnt more than 50 signs

Pinker	a native signer on Washoes observing team, wasn't as impressed with Washoe as people took Washoe scratching as a sign when it may have just been a response to a natural impulse
pinker developing G&G	criticises as cannot distinguish between a sign and natural impulse therefore decreasing reliability. meaning its hard to establish a true cause and effect as dont know if she understands the signs
