Context

A good general purpose combination to deal with opponents that tend to "shell up" when under fire.Fire off two or more jabs to put them in their shell and then use a cross to open or split their guard. Sometimes pushing rather than punching. Then use the opening to deliver an uppercut and end with a body shot.

Context

When an opponent tends to make the mistake of parrying your jab with his lead hand this combination makes him pay for that mistake with an overhand punch over his parrying hand followed up by a shovel hook. The reason to follow with a shovel hook is because it can easily be changed to an uppercut if the overhand was particularly succesfull, if not finishing to body is a nice way to change levels on your opponent.
