I dreamed a dream - Les misérables listening activity

The students may watch the trailer of the film to learn about the plot of the movie and context of the song. The video contains very few spoken sentences, so it is only meant to work as an introductory, quick activity. After watching the students may reply to the following questions:   Do you know this movie? Have you watched it? What do you think is the main plot of the movie? From what you can see in the video, what do you think happens to Fantine (Anne Hathaway's character)? From what you can see in the video, what do you think happens to Jean Valjean (Hugh Jackman's character)?
