Instead of using the protocol HDLC for WAN connections the Ethernet protocol can be used. The Ethernet protocol can be implemented by using a Gigabit Ethernet link at each site. EoMPLS will get the frame from the customer Ethernet network and will de-encapsulate it and will encapsulate the data into a new Ethernet frame before forwarding the frame in the WAN link, each time a router needs to sen an Ethernet frame over a WAN link it will destroy the old Ethernet frame and will create new frame before forwarding the data over the WAN link until it reaches the final point
