    People who get botox in their face have a hard time showing emotions and a side effect of that for some people is that they actually can't feel the emotion if they can't show it.  In the same way, if you tell someone to hold a smile and try to get angry, it's hard to get mad. And vice versa, if you tell someone to hold a frown and try to find something funny, it's difficult.
