They can reproduce rapidly

How does Fungi cause disease?
Fungus lives in the skin and sends out reproductive Hyphae that grow to the surface of the skin and release spores.
Fungus live in the body and release toxins that damage our cells.
Fungus send out reproductive Hyphae to the blood.
How do Viruses cause disease?
Take our genetic machinery of the cell
Make the cell manufacture copies of the virus
Eventually the host cell bursts which releases the new viruses
Take over the brain
How does a Protoctista cause disease?
Enter the Host cells and feed in the contents
Causes damage to the red blood cells in the blood
