In our film 'Incommunicado' we located it in the woods. We thought this could be relatable for our target
audience as i'm sure majority of the teenagers now a days have been to the woods and have experienced some
sort of discomfort and worry when they have hurt uncertain noises that have have frightened them. This is
basically the story line so we thought this would be effective and suit our target audience.
Another way we made our film opening relatable was having actors around our target audiences age.
This is so they can relate to it more easily than say a 40 year old being the main characters in the film.
Both the actors and audience can relate to eachother as they are students.
Our films language is also english which means that majority of the worlds population will understand it.
From that we also had a mixture of formal and informal so that the younger target audience can relate to it (stereotypical slang)
where as the older teenagers can relate to it also as its understandble. We used a mixture of both formal and informal dialect
(slang).
Another way we attracted our target audience was by dressing them the way a typical teenager would dress so this
can be realatle with the aspect of fashion for this age group.
