COMPLETING THE SQUARE - when we do not see a possible substitution or when we have quadratic function at denominator
TRIGONOMETRIC IDENTITES - when we have summation of two terms power to two or when we have different angle
IMPROPER FRACTION - When degree of numerator is less than degree of denominator and using long division method
SEPARATING FRACTIONS - is used when the fraction can be separated
MULTIPLYING BY A FORM OF 1 - to put the integral into a form that is easier to integrate
ELIMINATING SQUARE ROOTS - When we have functions in a square roots
INTEGRATIONBY PARTS- when the integrand is a polynomial multiply by trigonometric functions / exponential / logarithm
INTEGRATION OF RATIONAL FUNCTIONS BY PARTIAL FRACTIONS - when degree of numerator is less than denominatorand when both numerator and denominator are polynomial functions
TRIGONOMETRIC INTEGRALS & TRIGONOMETRIC SUBSTITUTION - to replace variable of integration by a trigonometric function
IMPROPER INTEGRALS - when one or both limits of integration are infinity
