          1. The 2.4KM treadmill run where you will be expected to perform to the best of your ability. The test will take place in a fitness center near you, around 28 days after your medical.

                1. Running outdoors is different to running on treadmill and so appropriate clothing and equipment should be considered.

                    1. A group run lasting 4KM where each individual must stay together in order to pass the assessment.

                          1. Starting back against the floor with your knees bent and fingertips on your temple, lift up your torso until your elbows touch your knees before returning to your starting position.

                              1. Starting in a push up position, feet shoulder width apart, pull your right leg in so your knee meets your elbow then return to start position. Repeat with left leg.
                            3. Swim Assessments
                              1. 50 Meter Swim
                                1. Swim 50 meters in a pool without stopping, touching the sides or bottom before getting yourself out unaided.

                                2. Jump Off 3 Meter Board
                                  1. A simulation of jumping off the side of a boat at sea, jump feet first with your fingertips on your shoulders.

                                    1. Designed to assess cardiovascular and muscular endurance while in a pool.
                                    2. Tread Water
                                      1. Treading water is necessary to keeping afloat at sea. You must keep your head above the water for the required time without touching the floor or sides.

                                    1. After completing your PRNC you will be invited to HMS Raleigh in Torpoint, Cornwall for your basic training. you undertake 10 weeks of training including a number of physical tests.

                                      1. The Royal Navy carries out an annual fitness test that everyone is required to take part in to ensure each serving personal can still meet requirements.
                                        1. 40KG Bag Carry
                                          1. Carry 2X20KG power bags between 4 shuttles over 15M, lowering the bags and picking them back up every 15M
                                        2. A 2.4KM treadmill run where you will be expected to perform to the best of your ability. Standards may vary from initial Pre-Joning Fitness Test.

                                                                      1. This element involves running to & fro along a 15 metre track to a series of audible beeps. The beeps, during the course of the test get progressively faster. You will need to have reached each side of the track before the next beep sounds.
                                                                      2. Dynamic Push and Pull test

                                                                            1. The Dynamic push/pull, this test requires you to push and pull an excise machine to your maximum ability. Candidates have three attempts to reach the standard. This is the standard Pull 34KG and Push 35KG for entry.

                                                                                      1. You need to run between two lines, 20m apart in time with a beep. The beeps get steadily faster. Your score is based on the point where you can no longer keep up.
                                                                                        1. Males need to reach level 10.2
                                                                                          1. Females need to reach level 8.1
                                                                                      2. Soldier Entry
                                                                                        1. The Power Bag Lift: Lift powerbags from the ground onto a 1.45m platform. Start with 15 kg as a warm up and increase by 5 kg to a maximum of 40 kg.
                                                                                          1. 40KG 1.45M High
                                                                                          2. The Jerry Can Carry: Lift two full 20 litre jerry cans and carry them as far as you can (up to 150 metres) at a walking pace.
                                                                                            1. 1.5 Mile (2.4km) Run: Start with an 800m warm up at jogging pace and then you will be timed running a further 1.5 miles (2.4 KM).
