Colombian Educational System

In Colombia education is defined as a process of lifelong learning , cultural and social personnel is based on a comprehensive conception of the human person , their dignity , their rights and their duties .
The Colombian education system is made up :
1. early childhood education
2. preschool education
3. basic education
  1. Primary five degrees
  2. secondary four degrees
4. secondary education
  1. two degrees and ends with a bachelor's degree .
5. higher education.
In the Constitution it follows:
1. it is a right of the person, of a public service that has a social function
2. which it corresponds to the state to perform the final inspection and supervision regarding the educational service
  1. in order to ensure their quality, compliance with its purposes and the best moral , intellectual and physical training of students .
3. Ensure adequate coverage of the service and ensure children the necessary conditions for access and permanence in the educational system
