What is a protest? A statement or action as a reaction to events or situations.
Forms of protest? Letters to MP's, Petition, Joining a march, Leaflets or Public meetings
What is Greenpeace? Worldwide, non-violent campaigns to protect the enviroment
Christians views on human rights All created in Gods image and loved by God as individuals. Care for poor and weak. 'You are all one in Jesus Christ'
Hindus views on Human Rights Carry out duties (dharma), if carried out properly you will protect the rights and freedom of others. All life is sacred and should be free from violence
Martin Luther King and Human Rights Christian, bus boycott. Peaceful human rights protests fo blacks and whites to be equal.
Gandhi and Human Rights Hindu, believed in ahimsa (non-violence). Give women more rights. Ease poverty. End British control of India.
