In terms of u and t s= ut+ 1/2 at^2
In terms of v, a and t s= vt- 1/2 at^2
In terms of u,v and t s= 1/2 (u+v)t
In terms of u, a and t v= u+ at
In terms of v, a and s u^2= v^2 -2as
In terms of u, a and s v^2= u^2 +2as
s= u= v= a= t= Displacement / Distance Initial Velocity Final / Second Velocity Acceleration Time
The Moment of a Force about a point is.... the magnitude of the force multiplied by the perpendicular distance from the point to the force or the line of action of the force
A anticlockwise moment is A Clockwise moment is Positive Negative
Moment of a Force= Force * Perpendicular Force
Distance from Point to Centre of Mass in x or y direction= (Sum of (Mass*Distance from point))/ Sum of Masses
If a body if suspended the centre of mass will be Directly below the point of suspension
Kinetic Energy = 1/2 m v^2
Work Done = Force * Distance cosθ
Gravitational Potential Energy= Mass * Gravity * Height mgh
λ= l= x= Modulus of Elasticity Natural Length Extension of string/spring
T= λx / l
Elastic Potential Energy= λ e^2 /2l
Power = Work Done / Time Taken
Work done by a variable force = ∫F(x)dx
v = dx/dt
a = dv / dt
v = ∫a dt
s = ∫v dt
r = xi + yj + zk
1 rpm = 2π / 60 rad s^-1
v =
a = rω^2
